Fund onboarding document requirement

As part of the account creation process for a Bullish Institutional account, we require customers:

1. to provide additional information on their organization and
2. complete our identity confirmation process.

Below are the templates and examples outlining the required information that customers must provide as part of the institutional onboarding process.

 


 

Template board resolution for a fund

<to be placed on the fund’s letterhead>

Board of Directors Resolution

We, the undersigned, being a director of [legal entity’s name/ fund name], consent and agree that the following board resolution was made on [date] in [location].

We do hereby consent to the adoption of the following decision:
1. An account to be opened with Bullish (GI) Limited
2. Authorize the following individual(s) to act on the fund’s behalf as "Authorized Representative(s)"

The appointed Authorized Representative has sufficient authority to act on behalf of the Fund, including but not limited to, entering into agreements with Bullish, creating an account and acting as the main account holder which includes making deposit and withdrawal of funds/ assets from the account.

The appointed Authorized Representative will have full access to Bullish services, full control of the Bullish account and authority to appoint and remove individuals to operate the account:

Template fund structure chart

  1. The Fund structure chart should identify information of the Fund, investors, investment manager, fund administrator and investment advisor.
  2. For each intermediate layer of ownership/shareholders, the organizational chart to include
    (a) Full legal Name of companies/ individuals;
    (b) Ownership percentage; and
    (c) Place of Incorporation/ Place of residency.
  3. The Fund structure chart should be prepared by the company's secretary, lawyers, accountant, or other company’s senior management who can verify that the chart being provided is the correct and accurate representation of the company's organizational structure.
  4. The person/individual who prepared the organizational chart to include his/her full name, role/capacity (internal or external role) and date the document.
