Terminating an Automated Market Making (AMM) Instruction cancels all open bids and offers currently in the Bullish Order Book that are associated with that AMM Instruction, preventing any more trades from occurring. It then releases the lock on the assets allocated to that AMM Instruction, making them available in your spot account. Finally, any interim income earned but not yet credited to your spot account in the last hour preceding termination will also be credited to your spot account.
Terminating your AMM Instruction
Terminating your AMM Instruction means you stop making markets. Terminating your AMM Instruction is designed to be instantaneous; after confirming, your assets are immediately available in your spot account, subject our Terms of Service.
To terminate your AMM Instruction:
- Go to the left-hand navigation and choose Portfolio.
- Choose the Liquidity tab.
- Find the AMM Instruction you wish to terminate under Open AMM Instructions.
- Choose X on the far-right hand side of your position. A Terminate AMM Instruction? pop-up window will display the details of your instructions, including how much of both assets will be unlocked.
- Choose Confirm to terminate your AMM Instruction. A pop-up notification will confirm that your AMM Instruction was terminated.
Viewing your terminated AMM instructions
Once confirmed, your terminated AMM instructions will show on the Portfolio screen.
- Go to the left-hand navigation and choose Portfolio.
- Choose the Liquidity tab.
- View the details for each of your terminated instructions under Historical AMM Instructions.
