How long does Bullish keep my personal data?
Bullish follows the storage limitation principle, which means that personal data is kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.
To determine the appropriate retention period, we consider the purposes for which we process it, whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or other retention requirements.
For example, your transaction history data would be kept during the time you are an active user and, for regulatory purposes, for a minimum of seven years following the termination of your account with Bullish.
Visit our Privacy Notice for the most up-to-date information on our data policy. You can also contact us at privacy@bullish.com should you have any queries regarding your data.
What happens to my personal data if my account is terminated?
Once your account is closed, we may continue to securely store your personal information to fulfill our legal and regulatory obligations and to defend potential legal disputes.
While data retention requirements may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, we usually retain customer personal information processed to comply with our anti-money laundering obligations for a minimum of five years following the termination of our business relationship with you, or for such other period as may be directed by a regulatory authority.
Please view our Privacy Notice for more information on how we use, protect, and manage your data.
